Terms of Service

Pings is an AI brand monitoring tool operated by A8T Labs. It queries several AI search engines (including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and DeepSeek) on your behalf to measure how they describe a brand, and returns a visibility score plus recommendations.

We rely on third-party AI engines. Their outputs are probabilistic and sometimes wrong, biased, or outdated. Pings is a measurement tool — treat its output as directional, not authoritative.

You must provide a valid email address and keep your password (or OAuth session) confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. If you think your account has been compromised, email us immediately at hello@pings.digital.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pings. If you are signing up on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to bind that company to these terms.

• Use Pings to scan brands, people, or topics in a way that violates applicable law or any third party's rights.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell access to the service.
• Attempt to overload our servers, bypass rate limits, or circumvent security measures.
• Use the service to generate or distribute hate speech, harassing content, or disinformation about individuals.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a brand you're monitoring.

Violating any of these is grounds for suspension or termination without refund.

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. The free scan tier is available without a credit card. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your billing page or by emailing us, and you will retain access until the end of the current billing period. We don't offer prorated refunds for partial months.

If a payment fails we will retry a few times and then pause your paid features until payment succeeds. We will not delete your data during this grace period.

We are a small team. We do not guarantee 100% uptime, and we may change features, add limits, or deprecate endpoints as the product evolves. If we make material changes that affect you negatively, we will notify you by email at least 14 days in advance.

We reserve the right to suspend the service temporarily for maintenance, security, or legal reasons.

The brands, prompts, and competitors you add are yours. You grant us a limited license to process that data for the sole purpose of running your scans and producing reports. We don't use your scans or queries to train models, and we don't sell your data to anyone. Details in our Privacy Policy.

The Pings interface, code, design, blog posts, and the recommendations generated by our analysis pipeline are owned by A8T Labs. You may use scan results internally and share them publicly with proper attribution. You may not rebrand or resell Pings reports as your own product.

Pings is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Results depend on third-party AI engines whose behavior we do not control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, A8T Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Pings. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice, at our discretion. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless we are required to retain it by law.

These terms are governed by applicable international law. Disputes will be resolved first by good-faith negotiation, and if that fails, in a court of competent jurisdiction.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the effective date and notify registered users by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
